Wordpress Revamped

Wordpress is a very popular content management system (CMS) and blogging platform for personal sites and professional business websites as well. It has a whole mess of features and plugins and capabilities, but in my opinion it is too disorganized for the average person. I’ve setup hundreds (if not thousands) of wordpress websites for clients and friends and found that it is not easy for the average user to figure out how to use the admin panel, add content, upload plugins, etc. Not everyone is web saavy. If the admin interface already had everything built-in and some tool-tips to get started - it would help immensely.

Let’s say there was a web 2.0 clean style admin area and after logging in, you are presented with several options. ONE: Write, TWO: manage, THREE: enquiries. Let’s say the wordpress site came built-in with SEO-friendly URLs, frequently asked questions to be created, contact form setup, place to create articles which already had ajax post ratings in them (star ratings so people could vote on the item), adsense ads integration which only took one piece of code to update, etc. It would be marvelous! So, right now my current project is just that. I am creating a new wordpress - with all built-in ready to go features for businesses and personal bloggers and site developers. I want it to be extremely easy to use, update, create and profit from. I’ll let you know when it’s done!

    Actually I haven’t finished yet Honest Riches.Though I talked to Davin.

    Now I am thinking to start by promoting by very easy way with Reliable products(No need to worry about the product) through squido, Articles etc. My Safe products are ; Honest Riches , Affiliate Cash Secrets as DAVIN purchased the right.
    Second If possible Blue Host and Word Tracker by squido,Article etc.

    But still did not research yet for those product.Will take time.

    In the mean time I will finish your Book and will understand more.

    Then I will take advice from Davin and you , then start in real.

    Actually I wanted to ask if you could give me some advice on how to add a dropdown menu like yours to my new little blog. I found a plugin but it is not what I want as it makes my widgets into drop downs. I want to make my PAGES into drop downs, like on a normal website. I want to me able to assign which pages are the “parents” and which pages are their “children.”

    Can you tell me how I can do that? Is it a plugin, or does it depend on the theme? The blog I am trying to handle is http://residual-income-streams.info - it has a navigation menu at the top and I would like to make it a drop down as I continue to build the site (it’s just a wittle baby blog right now)

    Thank you for the website. I got so excited and nervous bouncing around in this 18-wheeler that I think I forgot to mention to you that I am a website dummy. Not to worry though, I am currently working through squidoo. I am using your and Davin’s advice. I haven’t published anything yet because I am learning about preselling my content (thank you Kathy). I still have to get some photos uploaded too. I tend to lean toward perfectionism when I critique my own work.
