Yes the blog post is from Nov 2007, but the payment is from 2005! Waaaaay before the Google Slap. A full year before it in fact. Things have changed big time since then. The chances that Jeremy is earning anything like that from Adsense now are very slim.
In fact Shoemoney no longer has ANY Adsense ads on it at all!
Most successful bloggers have turned to more lucrative ways of monetizing their blogs. Yaro Starak’s ‘Conversion Blogging’ Video and eBook gives a good insight into professional blogging methods.

Yeah, Shoe is a cool dude. I think many don’t realize, no matter how long ago, it’s still possible to make money with adsense. The thing is, many try to do it in the “make money online” niche…this will not bring you much results. It’s the other niches where folks are cleaning up on the daily. Are they making checks this size? I don’t know, but I know people who make a living off of adsense! And there are probably many more that just don’t tell anyone lol…a lot more than you’d think.
Either way, that’s one big check!

I remember seeing that blogpost on Shoemoney’s site some time ago, but completely forgot about it – good to have a reminder
Also in that post are the uncensored click details for his Adsense account that month – very interesting. Reading through his comments, some readers disclose that those earnings were just for ONE site, which is still online – nextpimps.com.

I wonder how much traffic he had and if he still maintained his income income stream. It is also possible that he got this check after a huge payment lock like one year or two. Any ways it is still a huge achievement. Doesn’t this break google agreement of information sharing?
