Purchasing software for business automation can be a difficult task. If there are people out there who purchase and honestly share their experiences with others, then it can save people a lot of hassles and wasted money. I know because I have spent thousands of dollars on software to try to make my business more profitable and efficient. This past week I purchased two things to manage my e-mails and contacts online.
1. I first purchased My Contact Station by Joel Comm. The price= $7.00
I bought it because I was desperate for a contact form script that protected my email address from spam, while allowing me to customize is a bit too. You can see a demo of it on his site. I actually decided not to use it because I needed something more powerful. I found a great help desk script and purchased that (which I will explain in the next paragraph). I did install this however, and then later uninstalled it because I didn’t need it. My honest opinion and advice- it is a great price and a great product for people who have a website (or several) and need a nice solution to handle incoming emails. If you are a person who sells a product and you need a stronger solution that has more features, integrations, etc. then definitely go with a help desk.
2. Second Purchase - Pro Desk Software for a help desk solution. The price=$195.00 one time
I’ve purchased help desk software (by kayako) in the past but wasn’t overly impressed. I desperately needed a help desk solution recently after being overwhelmed with spam in every email inbox. So I did my research and found Desk Pro. It is packed with features and I am thoroughly impressed.

The absolute BEST feature about it - which had me sold to buy it - is this: Quick replies for efficient email answering. If you answer a lot of repeat questions (for example, people ask me this everyday, “Holly, how much does it cost to get started?”) and I always answer with the same response. To speed things up I can use the quick reply button in my help desk admin area when responding and the answer will be automatically placed in the email reponse. The customization options for this help desk software are ENDLESS. I am more than impressed! ![]()

By the way if you are more than happy with this then I can follow that blindly in future when I will be having several websites.
As per as the Support Desk is concern, I am getting a minute feeling that you are going away from us very slowly.Actually when we get stuck we used to contact you through your personal mail which was so close like a family memeber we are talking with.Now when we will contact you to find a solution we might feel that you are far away from us instantly when the help desk appears.

Hi Manidip it is so good to hear from you. I know its been too long since my last post. It’s hard to keep up with things. So I want to say something about the help desk -
I most definitely absolutely do not want to distance myself from anybody online. My main and only real concern with it was that people would see it as impersonal and just like you did. I understand totally but Its the only way to keep in contact with people because as of now every inbox I have is totally full of spam and I cannot get to any messages. If I miss one email then one person not only loses any respect in me and my ebook but also hope that there might be an internet marketer who actually does care and who wants to help.
I’m glad you mentioned this to me though - thank you. I will add a widget to my sites so people can IM me if I’m online at the same time and have some time -if they need their ebook related problem solved right away.
