Personal Update from the Cheese State
Posted on 14. Jul, 2009 by Holly in Blunt Honesty, Holly Mann, Interesting
Hey everyone! I just wanted to post a quick update and let you know more useful internet marketing content will be posted this week. I have been trying to stay fairly consistent in posting an article on here daily, but haven’t over the past several days. My son Josh and I have traveled from Las Vegas to Rockford, Illinois and then we drove all through the state of Wisconsin and have finally arrived in northern Wisconsin. We’re here visiting family and friends until the 19th! I just wanted to post a few interesting photos from the past several days. After we arrived we stopped outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin to celebrate my brother’s triplets daughter’s second birthday party. It was fun spending time with family. Enjoy!

Hi Holly
Great photos of you and the family. Thank you for sharing.
The triplets are sooo cute.
Couple of “observations”.
1. Do the folk up where you were not use swimming gear?
2. Arn’t you the big gambler..more chips than anyone else.
3. Last photo of Josh. He looks like he is a Harry Potter actor and ready to “fly”…LOL
Actually, I am just messing. These are the type of photos I like to take. with plenty of action etc.
Enjoy your break and come back to us safe and relaxed.
My wife and myself are heading up to Ft.Lewis in WA next week to be with Grandson Jordan during his pacemaker proceedure. I will be doing the “baby sitting” to let the Mom and Dad and Cheryl (my wife) spend time at the hospital.
Looking forward to your return.
Kind regards
Tom

Thanks for the update and the personal touch Holly!
I know so little about that state, and I love seeing pictures.

Something tells me that there were many pleasant distractions causing ‘top shortened’ camera captchers. Those of us who have seen them still enjoy seeing pictures of you and your family.I have been throughout all the Great Lakes States many times ,driving also, during scenic summers and winter blizzards and ice storms–enjoy the weather now.

Thanks Tom, Anna and Bill!
It’s been fun! I would have added captions to the photos but had some problems doing that. Wisconsin has been great so far – weather hasn’t been too cold. The people amuse me with their strong accents! It is so funny to hear it – as I used to have it myself! If you have seen the movie “New In Town,” it really seems just like that here in my mom’s small town in Northern Wisconsin. The people are so friendly and talk with very funny accents!
lol…
In the photos many of them were taken at my brother’s triplet’s bday party. At the party we went swimming and my cousin wanted a photo with my sister and I. Half a second after getting a picture taken with us he pushed us right into the pool with all our clothes on. So in the other pics you may see we decided to return the favor to any other innocent bystanders! It was great! We played Texas Holdem and I won the tournament! It was awesome!

And TOM – I will be thinking of you and Jordan – he is very brave. I’m sure it will also make him feel better to have you and grandma around.

Hi Holly
Thanks for your comments about Jordan. He is a very brave little man, but I know he is still very worried, so our job is to distract him and be there for him when he comes out of hospital.
As for the photos, they are brilliant and as for the “horse play” at the pool, sure that’s what makes the visit more memorable. I knew you were a real gambler when I seen all the chips!! I love Texas Holdem.
You mentioned the strong accents, well when I come out here first I had to slow way down so people could understand me, but I was not long picking up the different accents/dialects in Fresno as it is a mishmash of every type of dialect. For a bit of fun, when I am walking through the local Mall with my wife, I will comment (jokingly) that this place is full of foreigners..and then the penny drops and she says to me, sure you’re a foreigner too. I love the diversity over here.
Anyhow Holly, enjoy the vacation and time with your family and friends. You deserve it.
Kind regards
Tom.
