Update: I no longer use this program, the concept was good but it does not seem that it was taken forward to a full success by its managers

Are you still a fan of it? I have immense referral abilities not to mention that I do have an entire forum of people who have websites. It could be very lucrative to me if the referral program is still open, and hey, they'd all be your second tier downline if I sign up.

Hi there - yes, I have been testing it a bit. As its very new I can't give a lot of feedback, it is still undergoing changes, recruiting new advertisers and publishers, etc.

But what really strikes me is the potential. There is the example of a pizza place in a certain section of a city with a lunch special. They can play ads for people near them, just before lunch, to encourage people to order their pizza meal or whatever. They don't even need traffic to a website. So you get an ad commission and they get a customer and you don't even lose your site visitor (unless he is really super hungry).

The other thing is that it is true that the Internet is starting to replace TV and radio. So I would think the ads will be switching over. With this, one doesn't even have to have a website to advertise.

So I mainly look at it as something with a lot of future potential. Particularly with its referral program. Ie, what if you sign up 100 people. Then a year or two from now maybe Pay Per Play gets really big and you suddenly are getting recurring commissions on millions of ads.

I haven't tried amazon video widgets yet. I definitely should. I do have Amazon affiliate widgets and links on my sites. It is REALLY funny what I sell. It's an alternative energy site. But I also sell things like milk jugs, jeans, video games - and even recently a bottle of vinegar. People seem to get lost after they enter Amazon. They order all sorts of stuff. I should try that video widget!

Thank you miss Anna for posting this! Sounds very interesting. Have you tested it out a little bit to see how profitable it is? I'm just curious. :) Amazon.com has something that may be similar - it is with the Amazon Associates program - called "YOUR VIDEO WIDGET" and you upload your videos (the videos can be related to anything at all - personal, business or reviews of products) and then after it is uploaded - you can create ad overlays (as many as you want). You choose the products and the specific times you want the ad overlays to show up. So, if you have uploaded a video about a product you bought, you can show the product link with an ad overlay. It's really neat - a little hard for me to describe. But, anytime someone clicks through to amazon.com through your video - and purchases then you will make commissions. It doesn't matter if they purchased the item they saw in the ad or something else. :) Pretty neat! I am testing this out now to see how profitable it is! I'll keep people posted. Thanks again for your post Anna!
