Once you join the Amazon Associates program. Then you can start using their tools to create widgets to place on your website. The widget choices provide you with a huge array of tools and items to place on your website. If someone clicks through any of your links and makes a purchase, you will earn a commission. My favorite (NEW) Amazon Widget is the “Your Video Widget.”

Y our Video Widget Details
First, you can use any video for this; personal, family-related r marketing-type videos. The widget will allow you to upload videos or use videos that you already have online, and insert in Amazon product links or information to link the viewer to Amazon. Whenever a person clicks through the link and makes a purchase of any Amazon products, you will earn commissions in your Associates account.

How to Create the Widget
Just login to your Amazon Associates account area, click on “Build Links and Widgets” and a new page will open.
The new page will provide you with an assortment of widget choices – just click on “Your Video Widget.”

Uploading Your Video
The video you upload must be in one of the accepted formats: avi, flv, mov, mpg or wmv.
When ready to upload, you will be able to select a video from your computer and click the Upload button. It may take a few minutes to process.

Product Pop-Ups
Once your video is fully uploaded, you can then create product pop-ups or overlays to place within the video. You can insert as many Amazon ads or product
pop-ups as you like, as long as they are not within 10 seconds of each other (please note this may change, so you should verify the rules and restrictions once you are logged into your account).

Viral Videos & Amazon Profits
After creating your video widget, you will receive a piece of code so you can easily embed it within your website.
Videos are viral and if you have something entertaining or useful to share, it can be spread from person-to-person quite quickly.
