Please vote for me – I have joined in a competition online for the “Leading Mom’s In Business 2009 Contest.”
I have never entered a contest like this before – and I’m excited about it! The winner will be announced in May of 2009.
The competition is for women who have their own business as well as take care of their kid(s).

I like it Holly. I know how you feel – I was looking for the right new theme for Building from Nothing for over 6 months. I knew what I wanted but I just didn’t find it – only things that were close but not quite there.
Those are good tips on finding out what theme and plugins someone uses! Seems obvious but I never thought of it! Usually I check the footer links, but those have sometimes been removed.
I like the theme. I think it suits you, and it also is very easy to read. It fits in alot without getting cluttered which is important! I like how you put your personal blog RSS Feed in here.
Suggestion – a space for a Twitter stream (like you had before) and/or a Social Networking widget with links to your social profiles.
I use the Blog Catalog “My Services” widget (you see it on my blog in footer area). Then, every time I join a new service I can add it to my Blog Catalog profile and it will update on any site that has the widget. I also really like the “Recent Viewers” widget from Blog Catalog (or My Blog Log).
Maybe these could be in the bottom area where they won’t get in the way but where social-addicts can still find them. Just a thought!
