Some of you will recognize some of the websites that follow below ours, as the sites are established online and have lots of readers. What does this mean to you? Well, if you believe in Honest Internet Marketing you can join our movement and create a free blog. You will have a link to your blog on the homepage of Honest Marketing Movement and that will help it gain a high ranking quicker. Hope to see some new blogs created! Take care…

Not to be negative, but is there much point in targeting keywords that nobody searches?

Hi JK!!! It’s been a while! How are you doing? I am happy you’re going to join our Movement!

Hi Mark! It’s ok about your comment. I am happy that you mentioned this now. Before the site is too established online we can collaborate on what keywords/phrases we want the main part of the site to reach a high ranking for. I didn’t intentionally do any seo for “honest marketing” so whatever we decide upon (whoever is interested) is fine. :) We can make it happen.

Thanks for your response Holly. I’d guess that the site will eventually attract traffic from a lot of different directions. Everyone’s blog is likely to take a different slant (e.g. Davin’s may be viral marketing. Mine, I think, may go along the lines of Honest Beginnings).

I think it can only enrich the whole Honest Marketing Movement concept if people interpret honest marketing in their own way.

Holly, I just noticed that both Davin’s blog and my own are now in the SERPs. Getting listed quickly in Google is just another great reason to join the Movement!

That’s great. You are so good Holly about getting your sites up there in the ranking so quickly. Actually I’ve tried your techniques in your book and can do similar (but never the same of course) but I do like Mark’s question and your response about keywords. I think with all the different blogs on there it will bring in all sorts of traffic.

I had been meaning to get mine up there but of course like always got sidetracked, I will try to today or tomorrow before the weekend!

So glad you posted again Holly. When you go away for a while without posting or commenting we all start to worry. Good to see you’ve been working on great things…AGAIN!

Regardless of search volume, I think Holly’s point was that the blog ranked quickly for a term with many competing results. Which is great.

I just managed to get my first page and post up a day or two ago so I guess I was just on time! I have so much to do right now, between overhauling my niche sites, my blogs, new sites, and now I’m starting on a humanitarian project regarding Rwanda! So pardon if my posts over here and in the HMM are short – I’ll try to keep them short and sweet as well. :)

Anna, if you saw 16m+ competing sites for a keyword would you pursue it? What if you found out that your competition was really only 3,200 sites? Broad match SERPS can be very misleading.

Thank you Holly for the opportunity to participate in your new endeavor. Tonight I created my blog, posted my first comment and changed my template. Whew! Now I’m even more inspired to stay productive so I can have pertinent things to add to my new blog!

Also to note, so glad to see you online and safe! I’ve been thinking of you and all that you shared you have been going through.

    Until next time…
