GVO Income Update & Matrix Explained

Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by Holly in Blunt Honesty, My Income

I signed up for GVO 7 days ago. Since I joined, I have been receiving e-mail after e-mail with notifications of new people in my downline. 5 hours ago I had 55 people in my downline, andday7_2 now it’s up to 66. The numbers are rising, and not just for me – but for everyone who is signing up or has signed up within the last few days. I want to stress that if you are considering this opportunity, now is the time to signup. If you’re visiting my site for the first time, please read my first post about GVO & the opportunity here.

It’s $1 for a 14-day trial – and within that time I am pretty sure you will have quite a few downline signups, even without doing anything. My good friend Davin and I are right above you -and we are going to do our best to completely fill our matrixes up. What does that mean for you if you join under us? It means the majority of your matrix will also be filled up, due to our efforts and the spillover. So, if any of these terms and concepts are confusing, I would like to try to clear it up below.

The post here today is a small update, and also an explanation of how you profit with GVO’s hosting & viral money-making program.

The GVO Matrix Explained

When I first heard about the GVO matrix, and heard it referred to as a 2 x 10 forced matrix – that meant nothing to me. I did not understand any of those terms used. So if you are like me, or need some clarification, here it is. I am a visual learner when it comes to stuff like this. So I created a graphic to help explain what the GVO matrix is, and how you will profit from it.WholeMatrix

First, your matrix starts with you at the very top. The matrix starts with you – and then your level one downline, which includes two people (one on the left and one on the right). The ideal situation would be for each person who signs up, to get two people to join. That doesn’t always happen though, as some people’s efforts are weaker, and some are stronger. This is why the system is incredible: it takes teamwork to make it happen. I’ve been using the term “spillover” when referring to some of the signups, and would like to explain what it means (I will try my best to make it clear as to what it is). Let’s say that I am at the very top, the red dot represented in the graph. Then Liz signs up under me at level 1, on the left (she will be represented by the 1. blue dot). Liz isn’t really familiar with internet marketing, and hasn’t received any direct referral signups yet. Direct referrals are ones who signup directly under you, with your affiliate link. Just because she hasn’t had any direct referrals, it doesn’t mean her matrix won’t fill up anyway.

Above her is me, and above me is Davin – and we are both promoting this as much as possible. When I get numerous direct referrals, they fill in the slots of the matrix. So as I get my direct referrals, they will fill in Liz’s slots, then over to the other side of the level 2 – to fill up as many as possible. Those signups who were my direct referrals, begin to fill in the gaps. Since they were not directly referred by Liz herself, they are considered “spillover” to her. Because she is located underneath two marketers who are heavily promoting this, Liz will most likely have the majority of her matrix filled -with or without her efforts contributing (ideally, everyone should contribute as much as possible though). Let’s pretend that I am the red dot at the very top, and I have not received any direct referrals. But, my sponsor (the guy above me) is promoting this like crazy, and as a result of his efforts and the efforts of others, my entire matrix fills itself up. Once the matrix is full, it will have a total of 2046 people.

Profiting with GVO – Income Opportunity Explained

If I were the person at the top and I have no direct referrals at all, and my entire matrix is full – I would receive 5% of each downline person’s monthly payment. The 5% of each person in my downline would be about: $4600. ($2.25 multiplied by 2046) If I had my entire matrix full, but had also received 6 direct referrals, and their matrixes were full as well….I would get about $4590 for the downline (which is 5% on 2040 people). Then, I would get 20% of my direct referral’s monthly earnings. The absolute minimum that would be is: $920 per direct referral (who has a full matrix – not taking into consideration that he could have some direct referrals of his own). The extra earnings for your direct referrals (6 people who have full matrixes) would be a minimum of $5520. in addition to your earnings. So, the basic total per month in that scenario would be approximately $10,110. per month after the first month. Obviously, this is just an example. But if you are starting out right now and joining at the very top, I think you will benefit the most financially. Honestly, everytime I check my e-mail I receive more notifications of signups. To make this work, we have to want everyone to succeed -and help each other all build and fill our downlines. The good thing is – the product(s) being sold here are top-notch products that are vital for Internet Marketers.

GVO Profits Recap

For NEW personal referrals (people who signup directly from your affiliate link), you get 50% commission on their first month – usually $22 (half of their $44 payment, unless they go for a larger hosting plan).

The next month and every month after, you continue to get 5% on all members of your downline, other than the direct personal referrals (who you get 20% of their TOTAL EARNINGS). All of those direct referrals will have their own income and spillover and direct referrals – you get 20% of their total monthly income.

Joel Therien Explaining GVO’s Pay Plan

One More Bonus

Once you have 14 direct referrals who signup, you then earn something that is called a “banked” position. With that new position, you can re-enter your own matrix anywhere that you choose. If you have questions about this, once you are near reaching the 14, please let me know. Once the official launch takes place, all of this should be seamlessly integrated into the system.

Date of GVO Official Launch

The approximate date for the GVO official launch is on or around September 15, 2009.

Now is the time to join! If you want to give this a try, you can signup for GVO for $1 (14 day trial, then after it is $44 per month).

If you signup under me, I will personally create for you a professional Wordpress-based website through your GVO hosting account. After joining, whenever you are ready and have a domain name – just contact me with the domain name and account login details. I will then setup the website for you! I just wanted to say that I am excited about how things are happening with GVO – things are moving forward quickly! If you have specific questions, please let me know. If I don’t have the answer, I will do my best to get it for you.

Oh that’s so good Anna. I was afraid I would make it even more confusing! :) Glad it cleared things up a little. I want to create some more visuals because I think it makes much more sense. Your videos (that you posted on your blog) helped me a lot! So thank you. I will email you soon – I hope things worked out ok and I think there might be some updates happening with their site now.

  4. Well that is certainly a very helpful post Holly. I’m sure that will help people to understand things a little better. I think I’ll have to send a trackback to that one…wait a minute…then maybe you would get the direct referral and not me!

I’m just joking…of course it would make no difference to me. Hey, were on the same team here.

Anyhow, as Holly said, we are both going to promote this as much as we can to help you guys get off to a good start. I have the opportunity loaded into my autoresponder, and I have some pretty big adswaps lined up with other marketers this month. All new subscribers will see the advert over time, throughout the coming months, so I’m hoping a good portion of that will spill over to you guys.

Of course, I’ll be using other methods as well, but, I do get a lot of traffic from doing swaps, and I’m sure it will help a lot.

Also, I’m free to answer any of your guy’s questions about the opportunity to. If Holly gets a little to busy to answer questions during her upcoming move back to Wisconsin, you guys can forward your questions to me at http://www.replytodavin.com .

Once again, great post Holly…downline is building all the time!

That’s great news Davin about the swaps. Thanks also so much for offering your help…I agree that we should use http://honestmarketingmovement.com as a gathering place as well. I hope we can coordinate that somehow! Thank you so much for everything Davin.

Hi Holly, I am a complete newbie in internet marketing…only know how to surf it.
Is it appropriate for me to join this program? If i join, I do wish to be actively doing my part as team member. So after the creation of the free website, do you think you can teach me how to promote it?
    Would appreciate your reply. Thanks

Hi Royston – I think it’s totally fine if you are new to internet marketing and want to get into this. Several of my direct signups are in the same boat. So there are many ways to promote this and get more people interested and joining -because it is a service that is needed, if you are an internet marketer (the hosting, the autoresponders, the prospecting system, etc.). First, I would recommend that you read Honest Riches if you haven’t yet – http://honestriches.com. And even if you don’t read it, you can also get a ton of great information here: http://honestworkfromhomesuccess.com. I am just recommending these two things so that you can broaden your understanding of internet marketing, and learn about how it works. I will definitely share all the methods to marketing this, that I know of with all the people who signup – because i want all of us to be successful with this. So yes – definitely. :) Many of the methods I will personally use are in my book Honest Riches too. Since signing up with GVO means you will have a website, I think it’s ideal because you can use that as well as a venue to spread the word.

    Hi Holly
Firstly…HAVE A VERY HAPPY AND ENJOYABLE BIRTHDAY.
I guess with the intro of GVO and your Birthday running in the midst of it, you won’t forget this one.

Holy Crap (excuse my French LOL), When I got on line this morning I was amazed to find 7 signups so far and I only signed up yesterday! What a way to go!!
I am excited and looking forward to the future and if this is happening so quickly before the official launch, what will happen after Sept 15th…

I noted on each sign up notice that GVO recommend that we contact the new people who signed up and offer them whatever help they may need as some will be complete newbies. I am just wondering how you and Gavin are handling this.
I was thinking of a nice little email to each newbie advising them where to go on GVO, but also thought this would be a perfect opportunity to also refer them to this site for further help and advice since you and Gavin are covering everything so well with your articles.
Introducing Newbies to your book Honest Riches would be a great stepping stone in their process.

BTW Holly, a fantastic article and makes everything so much clearer. I like the graphics as they are easier to understand and as they say “a picture is worth a thousand words”.

Cheers and agaiin many thanks for the opportunity.

Also as an update – I have someone doing the other project I emailed you about this morning. Hopefully it will be done today- and will work just like the other page you and Davin liked. Do you like MyGVOTeam.com as the domain?

Irish Tom, I can’t get anything done because of the email notifications I keep getting that you have signed someone up! I am glad we are in the same downline and keep up the good work!

    Hi Holly..

Sent an earlier Happy Birthday message on your FB profile, but here you go again, happy birthday!

I need some clarifications with this GVO MLM business opportunity. I remember reading your honestriches book on page 67 that you used a one-time autoresponder software and advise us, especially if you’re a newbie and don’t have the resources that the best option is to go with software that requires a one-time payment.

Once you sign-up for the month-to-month payments (which so many auto responders require), you will be stuck with that company for a long time.

Further, I was one of your customers that took your bluehost offer and got the free website uploads from before. I still have more that 1 year left on that account as well

And now you’re into this. I wonder whether I should jump on-board or not? I could just as everyone else, tried it for 14 days of a mere $1, but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea at the moment to be spending on this?

It’s an intriguing offer tho.. I’m still looking for a reliable autoresponders tho. For $44.95 per month, is it really worth it? I just don’t know if I have the kind of resources to invest in this.

I’ve always trust your judgement and I could use with some sound advise.

    Thanks.
    Ed

Did not know how else to reach you (probably my fault). I just wanted to find out what is up currently with GVO. I have not seen any updates from Joel since Monday. The approximate launch date has come an gone. I would appreciate receiving any information you might have. If this information is already available, just let me know where to find it.

I look forward to hearing from you,

There’s no updates because like everything MLM, GVO is a scam. Internet marketing has just taken about 50 steps down the integrity ladder. I love the countdowns on both GVO and Kiosk’s sites, they just keep on counting down…

Hey John. I have been posting GVO updates on here: http://gvohostingreview.com and so far, so good. If I thought it was a scam I wouldn’t be promoting it like this. I am new to it, as it is new as well and in prelaunch. I agree that most MLM programs I’ve seen online are scams. I don’t even like it if something is called MLM as I don’t like to normally be associated with that stuff as the majority of the MLM programs aren’t even offering anything of value.

If you were to ignore the fact that there is a money-making opportunity associated with GVO, and just look at the services offered, you are left with an awesome website hosting company, that provides internet marketers a suite of tools that are needed for working online. It offers all the tools and services in one place, and lets you host an unlimited number of domains as well. That alone is worth spreading the word about. If I knew of it before, I would have joined and saved a lot of money. I spent over three hundred dollars on my autoresponder software, I spend 250.00 monthly for hosting (with my old hosting company prior to GVO) and I’ve bought a bunch of other software programs that are already included in the bundled price of $44 that GVO offers. For me, that’s awesome. If the company had an affiliate program, I’d promote them for sure. But the program they have, similar to an affiliate program, is offering more payouts and more residual income than the standard affiliate program.

Personally, I don’t like referring to it as MLM but it is what it is. :) So far, I have made a nice profit from it and I want to do my best to help everyone involved do the same. The reason I haven’t been updating this or my site over the past few weeks is because I’m in the process of moving and I’ve had very little access to the internet.

  18. Yes, I have to agree with Holly on that one John. I’m already showing a very nice monthly profit stream from GVO, which wouldn’t be there had I not decided to get involved.

Holly is right, many MLM products do not offer much value to end users, but, if your an Internet Marketer, we all need and use hosting, auto-responders and the like. Every time I log into the new GVO members area I’m becoming increasingly more impressed all the time with what they have in there. Personally, I’d wished I could have had everything in one spot long ago.

I don’t like the term MLM either, just because of the stigma it has gotten. Most of that was caused off line, but, network marketing is making some huge headway now that it’s hit the Internet. There are some very successful people in it.

It interested me originally, because it has a lot of characteristics of viral marketing. I prefer to think of it as “hybrid affiliate marketing” myself when I think of GVO. Also, with a track record of 12 years in the business as Kiosk, before switching their name over, I’ve no doubt they will be there for a very, very long time.

    My two cents worth…

    Davin
