Free Professional Twitter Backgrounds
Having a Twitter background that is professional and clean, can reflect you or your business and leave a great impression on others. I’ve been posting a lot about Twitter because I’ve realized how important it is to people who work online and who prefer to keep their readers engaged and up-to-the-minute with what is happening. At least 10 percent of the traffic I receive to HonestHolly is from Twitter.
After researching the different options available online to help you create your own custom Twitter backgrounds, I found myself disappointed in the resources available. Oftentimes if you use one of the free software tools to create a “custom” Twitter background, you’re left with a big watermark or text that refers back to the service you used, like “Custom Background Created with Blankwebsite.com.” And, I think there are other options that can look more professional and offer you more flexibility.
I created a bunch of Free Twitter Graphics that you can download and truly customize – you can add your image, graphics and any additional text that you like. Colors can be changed as well. The files I’m providing for download are all in .PSD format – which generally works with Adobe Photoshop. If you do not have Adobe Photoshop (I think the average person would not) you can download a free image editing software program and edit it in that program. After doing the editing, then you would need to save it as a .JPG or .GIF or other image format so you can upload it to your Twitter profile. If you do not have Adobe Photoshop, there are at least three free alternative image-editing software programs that you can edit a .PSD file in. Please read 3 Ways to Open .PSD Files without Photoshop so you so you can figure out what program you may want to use.

I’ve been meaning to change that awful Twitter background of mine for some time .Thank you .Those links to the psd editing
programs are much appreciated also.Yet every one of them has an editing learning curve when it comes to adding a picture exactly where you want it to go , other than into the main layer of the psd file which is a picture by itself.Using the psd as a template to add text is relatively easy especially with Irfanview..
So holly , how do you add a non psd picture into any of the above backgrounds ?
Every time I try it ends up in the middle of the whole background wher it will not be seen on the Twitter page.
