Free eBook Software Adobe Digital Editions

Adobe Digital Editions: Completely Free, Light-Weight eBook Reader & eBook Management Software

The normal format for viewing eBooks is Adobe Reader. But Adobe also has a more advanced software (which is free), called Adobe Digital Editions that can be used to manage & view all of your digital documents. I just discovered it today, downloaded it and I am utterly impressed. I am surprised that it is free. The interface is sleek and file size is small (it only took a minute to download the program). It will make your computer and documents so much more organized. Internet Marketers tend to download quite a lot of eBooks, which can be lost in folder and subfolders within your computer. Adobe Digital Editions lets you create digital bookshelves so you can manage every single eBook in one place. This is a huge relief for me, as it is so difficult to keep track of all the digital downloads!

According to the Adobe website, “Digital Editions also provides support for content portability on next-generation mobile devices, so you can take your eBooks with you wherever you go.” I like this because it’s nice to take eBooks with me while traveling, or off of the computer.

    Hey great Holly, I just downloaded it. I loaded up 6 or so of the *most important* books. Wow, that is much more useful than digging around all the time for them. My computer is such a cluttered mess, I can’t find a lot of things sometimes. Your new book is in the list of course!

    Holly, I’m not sure if you are aware of this or not, but there is a huge contest for bloggers on right now, by Miguel Alvarez, another Social Power Linker. I think you just might want to enter this one yourself…the prizes are fantastic, and it’s really easy to enter! I outlined the whole thing for people over at my blog if you’d like to have a peak yourself. The prizes are killer..I’d love to see you enter yourself!

    Thanks! I already like the concept, this is right up my alley! I love to organize stuff…and even just reorganized my info products, but having them in one application, on bookshelfs is like a dream come true!
