Food Sanitation in Thailand – Is he alive?

Man sleeping on his veggies at the market in Hang Dong, northern Thailand (Dan, you probably know this market!). I took this picture a few days ago as Josh and I went to the market to get some food, chicken and sticky rice and some vegetables. So, the man looked like he was deceased! But he was breathing! 
I had to take a picture (with my cell phone) because it was such a funny sight as other people at the market were actively working and selling and cooking, he was sleeping. He was completely out, with his arm in the veggies he was supposed to be selling!!!! It really made me smile!!! 
I hope you enjoy it too. lol..

haha. I think i will DIGG this post, maybe people will want to get a laugh. 
I thought it was funny. Especially odd he was wearing those socks..it is so hot here and I’ve never seen anyone where socks before.

Those scallions must be exuding some serious exhausts..either that or he is praying for more produce!!
Guess he left his socks on out of respect for the lord!lol

well it is interesting the types of food you can find overseas, I’m willing to experiment, I would want to know how much he is a pound and if he clean, if not clean I guess we would clean him at home, as a stir fry with rice and some veggies he might not be too bad
