I didn&#039;t know it has been used by people in such times of need - and how supportive people can be. I&#039;m glad Twitter was created - as it is bringing people together - even if it is on a virtual plane - it is a good thing.</description>

I didn&#039;t realize how widespread Twitter really was. Read the comments and it was nice to see how much support there was for young Billy.
I first seen Billy Mays (may he rest in peace) when I arrived here almost five years ago and he used to enthrall me. I loved the way he put products across and of course I did buy many of them. 
Back in Ireland we used to have characters like Billy who would come to the local town markets and from the back of a truck would do their &quot;pitch&quot; and were so entertaining. 
Billy was the closest to that here.
I guess we can all imagine him doing his &quot;pitch&quot; at the Pearly Gates on St.Peter. A lovable character gone but not forgotten.
