Amazing Website Video Tips
Video marketing is hugely profitable for businesses and blogs alike. If you are not using video marketing within your online business, you could be missing out on a lot of opportunities and income potential. Personally, I have decided to step out of my comfort zone and get into video marketing more for my online business. I have used it on some personal hobby websites (totally non-related to internet marketing) with great success and a massive increase in website traffic, almost overnight. I am now ready to incorporate it into my business websites also.
Having videos to market yourself and your products, websites, or business – can open the doors to so much more than you realize. People are visual and most people would prefer to see a short video, rather than read some text on your sales page. Text is important in its own respect, but adding this visual element can greatly increase your chances of captivating and keeping a visitor interested. It’s a great way to share your business, yourself and make a real connection with the website visitor.
Today I will not be teaching about making your own videos, about youtube, green screening techniques or anything like that (sorry, I will do this on another post as I think it is important too). For people who are not comfortable being on camera or who would rather have a professional create for them a stunning video for their website, my friend introduced me to Extreme Video Media. It’s a service where you pick the actor, provide the transcript, images and your own video clips too if you like, and they create your video for you. You can choose from a variety of sets and the videos created are highly professional and excellent for businesses online. So check it out – I ordered a video for my business website and book. As soon as it is done I will post it on here for all to see.

That’s a great idea – and I am interested in seeing how it goes. I would add – many people prefer video to text but many also prefer text to video. Pesonally, I read fast and tend to scan, and when I am forced to watch an entire video just to find out what something is, I get very frustrated and usually navigate away. Additionally, some times one is in an area where quiet is needed and headphones aren’t handy. Or at times there could be a slower connection.
Therefore I would personally suggest using both – and making it possible for someone to get the important concepts through either video or by reading the text – whichever is better for that particular person. But when you force someone to using one method or the other, you may lose visitors.

I would love to see what the split tests results on these types of services. Whereas, by selecting this type of professional service, vs. implementing the personal brand of the marketer/product owner.
It seems to be a great service, however, I wouldn’t recommend it to be a marketers premier method of promoting.
